People turned in to monster and mostly lose their mind and attack people. They also worked with vault tech to created this f uckin vault experiment project and the worst one, invented fev to change a normal human to mutant, stronger smarter abd resist to rad bad effect.but it screwed too hard to be perfect. The Enclave is a faction from the old world (Us gov itself) that tried to make murica great again (pretty much at first) until they screw s hit up. And then start a fight over control of a water purifier so they can do their plan from fallout 2 but this time slowly introduce the fev killer into the water supply around dc, instead of use the jetstream off California to spread it across the world much more efficiently, and seemingly with no desire to go take back their bases and technology. They not only somehow revived all the way across the continent, but then decided to create a computer ai to be their president after their previous president's death for some reason, and then proceeded to have power struggles with that ai for control of the enclave. I would have loved to do more quests for them in nv thou. In fallout 1 the brotherhood was some kind of "silent observer" and preservator of tech, in fallout 2 they really just were a sidenote and didnt get involved in the action just to be resurrected in fallout 3 as the ultracoolbadasspimps. Just to get crushed by the brotherhood of steel wich have become some sort of "matchbox"-pimp-soilders a 14 year old created in his wildest dreams. But they then got some how revived and returned in fallout 3.
